ATT Online - Novell ZENworks Configuration Management: Core Troubleshooting 

Description

This course introduces you to the tools and logs available to troubleshoot problems within ZENworks 10 Configuration Management. You also examine several key components and processes that are useful in troubleshooting core components of ZENworks Configuration Management.

After completing this course you, should be able to:

* Effectively use the tools included with ZENworks for troubleshooting problems
* Identify the key log files and what types of problems they are useful in helping troubleshoot
* Be familiar with key third party tools and how those tools can be used to assist in troubleshooting ZENworks problems
* Capture a network packet trace of ZENworks operations and use the SSL certificate to decrypt the SLL traffic in the trace
* Describe the key processes of the core ZENworks environment such as login, refresh, agent and server startups


This course includes both lecture and hands-on exercises. In the hands-on portion of this course, you use the information learned to troubleshoot broken environments and learn how to best apply information taught.
