The directory's increased functionality in the network make it a critical component for management and decision-based computing. Since it is responsible for housing the various pieces that define the identity of an object and the objects security, its smooth functioning and health are paramount. This hands-on, online session will explore techniques for maintaining and troubleshooting Novell eDirectory. Techniques for solving many of the challenges facing directory engineers will be demonstrated using the tools available to every administrator. This session will utilize a specially written version of DSClinic, made specifically for the Advanced Technical Training (ATT) eDirectory 8.8 class.

This is an advanced troubleshooting class. Attendees are expected to have experience with eDirectory and the eDirectory tools before attending.

• Practical hands-on labs – this technology allows you to connect to your own virtual machines and perform real-world tasks using Novell products, follow the steps sent to you via email prior to class, and receive support from the instructor and lab technicians during your lab session.
